Job Description
Some of the Duties & Responsibilities of the role are as follows:-
- Responding to enquiries (in person, by phone, email etc.), sourcing information, following up and providing responses in a timely manner
- Being the primary point of contact for Students on issues including, but not limited to general course queries, class times, timetabling and payments
- Assisting with Student enrolment, Intakes and Orientations
- Processing payments and issuing invoices
- Maintain the Student Management System VETRAK database system to ensure details of enrolments in line with best practice guidelines and methodologies are recorded accurately and completely including adding attachments and completing file notes of any and all student interactions
- Maintenance of student records/ new submissions
- Computer application involving use of Microsoft Office, which may include one or more of the following functions:
- Create new files and records
- Spreadsheet/worksheet
- Provide general advice and information on the organisation’s products and services
- An ability to ensure the safety of co-workers by adopting safe working practices and compliance with WH&S policies and procedures
Key selection criteria
- Understanding of the roles and functions of an RTO
- 1 year office experience in similar role
- Experience with Xero
- Demonstrated computer skills and experience in working with Microsoft office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
- Organisational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work according to strict deadlines
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake a wide range of office tasks
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team
- Good written and oral communication skills
