Full Stack Developer 

What is the opportunity?

As a Full Stack Developer in DevOps team, you will be part of the team that works on developing of next generation applications serving all segments of RBC Technology and Operations. You will work with internal clients and product owners on building various products that will help boost the developer productivity. 

What will you do?

Work on internal facing applications targeted towards developers across the organization

Help design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve applications

Integrate with third party APIs and create scalable apps

Partner with other teams to understand user needs and contribute in delivering solutions to solve complex business problems

Create and maintain technical systems documentation and write concise, well-organized code and sensible tests

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

2+ years of development experience with React, Java, micro services architecture, Spring Framework (MVC, Security, JPA, Boot), Maven, SQL, Python

Knowledge of developing distributed cloud applications (Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes)

Hands on experience designing, developing, testing and troubleshooting RESTful API and interface specifications (Swagger)

Experience with multi-threading, scaling, concurrency, caching, queuing, and distributed data storage

Experience with message brokers (Rabbitmq, Kafka etc.) and NoSQL databases (Mongodb, Elastic etc.)

Nice to have

Understanding of DevOps principals and CI/CD best practices

Experience working with docker and kubernetes

Interest and ability to work with new tools and languages

Experience working in agile environment
