Calling all Telephone Superstars! 

The Telephone Services team is responsible for providing 24 hour support to Counties Manukau Health and handles over 1.5 million calls per year. 

Based at Middlemore Hospital and within a supportive, close knit team you need to understand the importance of being the first point of contact ensuring all inbound calls and requests are taken care of professionally and in a timely manner. You will need to bring exceptional interpersonal skills, high levels of empathy and a willingness to go that extra mile. 

We currently have 2 positions outlined below;

• Part time working 24 hours per week Monday to Sunday

• Part time working 16 hours per week Monday to Sunday

 Knowledge of a hospital environment and medical terminology would be a distinct advantage but not essential. You will need to be a motivated team player with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and excellent communication to all our inbound callers. If you have what it takes and you're familiar with the operation of large PABX systems and have proven experience with the use of large busy Switchboards, then we would love to hear from you!

The salary for this position is between $44,130 to $50,716 pro-rata, dependent on skills and experience.
