About Quest Serviced Apartments

About the role:
You will be there to ensure all guests are welcomed and farewelled ensuring their arrival and departure experience is seamless while being fluent with Quest Apartments standards. You will need to be able to work 4-5 days across rotational shifts, including at least one weekend day/shift. You will handle all guest, internal customer enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
What we need from you:
• Available to work shifts including weekends. (Reception timings are 7am to 7pm on weekdays and 8am to 4pm on weekends)
• Available for after-hours duty management (on-call basis) every alternate week (more information provided below*)
• Well-developed Communication and Customer Relations Skills.
• Well-developed Computer Skills particularly MS Office, and Outlook
• University Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management is desired but not essential.
• Minimum 1 year work experience in a customer facing role, however full training will be provided.
• Must have legal working rights in New Zealand for minimum 1 year period.
*Experience in Hotel Property Management system (preferably RMS) will be an added advantage!
*Please note: Apart from the Front Office Role, candidate will be required to fulfil the role of on-call duty management (after reception hours), for which a separate allowance will also be paid (separate from your hourly wage). This role entails the following:
- Welcoming and checking in guests after hours.
- Answering calls
- Attend to any urgencies and/or emergencies
Duty management role requires the employee to reside on site, hence accomodation will also be arranged, however further details will be explained further during the interview.
