Reporting to the National Sales Manager at Advisor Banking Services, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing the territories that has been assigned to him/her and to develop long lasting relationships with financial advisors of our partners and to service their clients with banking solutions such as Mortgages, Home Equity Line of Credit and other banking solutions.
Main challenges
- Develop long term relationships with Financial Advisors of our partner firms
- Establish and maintain effective communication with advisors on your sales territory
- Execute outbound sales calls to advisors on a daily basis to establish relationships and build a healthy pipeline
- Make presentations to advisors to promote our banking offer and the holistic approach
- Promote our banking products among Independent Advisors, provide support, submit strategic offers to them and ultimately execute the credit transactions with the advisor’s clients
- Serve as a consultant and contact person for them, thereby guaranteeing the completion of mortgage transactions
- Ensure that communication with your advisors is constant and that their clients are satisfied
- Propose financing solutions such as our strategic All in One product, (Home equity line of credit), mortgages, comprehensive lines of credit, and solutions adapted to the advisors working within the MFDA, MGA and IIROC environment
- Specifically, you will:
- Ensure the penetration of our product line among your distribution channel of advisors within your territory
- Implement business strategies among our partners by applying the existing sales and marketing strategies, which include the concrete realization of loan agreements
- Implement and uphold a high level of service on the market
- Maintain constant communication between advisors so as to determine their needs and offer solutions to their clients, thereby maximizing business opportunities with their clients
- Follow up with potential clients, conduct promotions, and circulate the information about our sales software, input and finalize mortgage transactions
- Ensure the constant growth of the distribution network by consistently adding both new independent advisors and financial advisors
- The candidate needs to be able to identify all risks inherent to the Personal and Commercial Banking sector’s activities.
- Bachelor's degree or one related to the activity sector and 6 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the sale of financial services or in a similar industry
- Good knowledge of mortgages and the credit underwriting process
- Experience in the realm of financial services including knowledge of influential, negotiation, business development, marketing, training, call centre development techniques
- Proven creativity and innovation in the development of tools, making it possible to increase business development and attract new clients
- Strong customer service skills and experience
- Keen interest and extensive confidence in his or her business development skills
- Knowledge of the insurance, mutual fund, IIROC and financing product sectors, an asset
- French and English (spoken and written) essential,

Compensation for this position entails a base salary, commissions and bonuses
