A not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Finance Team!

Our client is a leading not for profit organisations, one of Queensland's largest and well-respected company in their industry, with its headquarters located on the Gold Coast. They are known to for providing exceptional services to their clients and supporting the community at large. An exciting opportunity has become available for an experience Financial Accountant to joining and support the Finance Team. Due to their growth and outstanding reach, they are moving from strength to strength and needing a exceptional individual.


Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Manager, you will be heavily involved in the daily financial activity of the organisation to ensure the successful performance of the department. You will have strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people within and outside the organisation. Your role will include, but is not limited to:

• The preparation of the annual financial statements
• Lease accounting
• Oversight of accounts payable
• Analysis and reporting
• Budget and forecast

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have proven experience in a similar role in a fast paced, corporate environment. CA or CPA qualification would be beneficial, but also the completion of a tertiary degree or similar. You will have strong analytical skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritise, strong attention to detail and knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures. This role will require excellent written and verbal communication skills, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and a positive attitude.
