Your new role

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant for a 6 month position based in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. Ideally you will have familiarity within a manufacturing environment, a well developed proficiency with SAP (or other large ERP system) and good working knowledge of accountancy.

The key purpose of this role is to provide technical financial support to the Regional Controller who is newly promoted. The role will include statutory reporting, tax compliance (GST, FBT, NRWT) and fixed asset reporting in accordance with internal controls and legislative requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

This is an immediate assignment to take away pressure from a busy Regional Controller so you will need to be an experienced Financial Accountant, ideally having worked with SAP - though this is not an essential requirement
