I am currently recruiting for a motivated Finance Team Leader, for a not-for-profit client based in Porirua. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Team Leader will have 5 finance officers reporting to them, who are cross trained across various finance processes. This is also an excellent opportunity to be involved in leading a project, to role out automation across more than 100 sites.

Other Duties Include:

• Lead and mentor a team of 5 Finance Officers to deliver across finance processes, accurately and to deadlines
• Successfully manage accounts payable, receivable, reconciliation and budget management processes
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and operational/adhoc reporting
• Lead and assist with project work, including an upcoming automation project across more than 100 sites
• Implement continous improvement over finance processes and systems

Desired Experience:

• Experience managing a team in the Finance space, with knowledge of accounts payable, receivable and month-end processes
• Strong ability to work across various systems and FMIS, with knowledge of continuous improvement practices
• Reliable, with an aptitude to mentor others and drive a successful team
