What you’ll be doing

As a Finance Operations Architect within our Digital and Emerging Technology team you will bring your extensive knowledge of MS FinOps to design and deliver solutions that transformation of our client’s technology. You will also have the opportunity to help evolve EY’s thought leadership in Cloud frameworks, methodologies and technologies and help scale these for our clients. 

What you will do 
 

• Partner with our clients to understand complexities of large scale solution development and work with them to apply best practice solutions to them
• Lead the technical side of the overall architecture and engineering design of the solution.
• Contribute to the architectural Roadmap / Runway to support implementation of key initiatives with a focus on Data Architecture components.
• Translate business requirements into contemporary solutions to support defined analytical and data processing needs.
• Provide deep technical expertise in a variety of technologies to aid with implementation and product selection.
• Oversee detailed solution implementation of business use cases into scalable, high performance solutions providing guidance where required
• Participate and contribute as an authority at Governance Forums to influence decisions regarding ownership and Data Governance standards are made
• Implement data movement & consumption principles and enforce governance on developed solutions.
   

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:  
 

• Strong Technical/architecture experience in software development projects preferably in a large enterprise scale Data and Analytics platform
•  Ability to understand complex solution design and technical architecture and prepare detailed technical designs in collaboration with the developers
• Highly developed communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability will allow you to identify gaps and provide effective solutions
• Ideally you will have experience in Cloud (AWS/Azure) and bonus points if you have Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile experience
