IT Power Services Ltd is a dynamic, growing and highly successful critical and backup power maintenance service provider. It is NZ’s premier privately owned maintenance and contracting company with an amazing team of 20 staff located in Albany, Auckland and servicing clients across NZ.

Due to our growing reputation and work portfolio, we are looking for an Field Service Technician to join our friendly team in Auckland. We are looking for someone who is highly organised and shows flexibility to tackle anything put in front of them.

You will be supporting the company's diesel generator division providing both mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise to a diverse client base across the industrial, commercial and infrastructure arenas. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is not only a skilled technician but also has customer service skills, the ability to learn to assess job costs and quote accurately, time management skills and a very ‘can do’ positive manner. Above all your sense of team work and character will make you a standout applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-3 years work experience in a mechanical field preferred by not essential
• EST electrical registration preferred by not essential 
• Above average computer and technology skills
• Good communication and people skills
• Motivation and drive
• High work standards and professional manner
• Ability to be highly organised and use initiative
• Sound fault finding abilities across both mechanical and electrical systems
• A good work ethic
• Full NZ driver licence
• A desire to learn, grow and become part of our tight knit team
