Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Management
- Execution of sales plans through effective customer acquisition inside and outside of the Electronic Smart Branch Unit (ESBU/Direct sales/Deployment Locations etc.
- Expand the market for the Citibank products through individual sales and managing a team of sales executives in any assigned channel.
- To ensure that team and individual performance meets desired objectives and goals set by Management
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding KPIs for the channel including lead generation, Deployment management, Smart center supervision, target marketing listing, calling efficiency.
- Conduct regular meeting/daily huddles with their team-members to provide feedback, update status of team performance and also take feedback from SEs
- Build customer advocacy through managing best in class sales process in terms of customer communication and service
- Observes and addresses any weaknesses in sales process including customer intercept, engagement and communication.
- Ensures ‘Do's and Don’t’s per best practices and branch controls to be adhered at all times. Identifies any compromises on that front to controls manager immediately
- Educating customers on self-service capabilities and encouraging them to use alternative service channels for financial and non-financial transactions (CBOL, Citi Mobile, ATMs).
- Ensuring compliance with internal audit’s requirements, Bank’s procedures, high quality standards, sales ethics and collective responsibility rules (to our clients, each other and the company).
- Keep an eye on the competition and provide timely feedback to key stakeholders/ decision markers
- Will work towards building a sales culture which becomes a benchmark in terms of meritocracy, diversity and adherence to Citi policies
Sales Control and Governance Management
- As a part of daily sales huddles with Sales Executives, update & reinforce credit policies, product proposition, criteria, Citi policies etc
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Timely and comprehensive communication of any issues / potential threats to senior management
- Achieve satisfactory audits and Local Regulatory Audit results.
- Drive compliance and control initiatives. Ensure full adherence to all internal policies and procedures and external legal and regulatory requirements
- Will work towards smooth branch operation which includes presence in branch, opening/closing and controls etc

Person Specification
Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience selling Citibank products/acquiring customers
- Preferably with 1-2 years’ experience in managing a team in a target-based environment
- Should be E2 grade and above in case Candidate is part of Citibank outsourced sales force
- Proven record of overachieving set targets
Skills:
- Possess good business acumen, effective interpersonal skills, and is excellent at written/spoken communications
- Track record of outstanding individual sales performance and/or overall business performance
- Strong leader, driven and passionate for sales
- High sales drive and energy levels. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment by demonstrating leadership and selling skills
- Ability to nurture and build strong relationships with customers.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage for this role
