Job Description
Ph.D. degree in Finance (or near completion). A strong commitment to both research and teaching are required for applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in all areas of finance. An established research and teaching record are required for applicants for more senior positions. Teaching assignments include undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs, and courses are generally taught in French. However, a number of courses are offered in English and teaching in English during the first two years is possible. As an intermediate French level is required for tenure, UQAM also offers free one-on-one French language instruction for new non-francophone faculty members.
