The opportunity
We are looking for an EY Private Operations Manager within the Oceania Markets team, preferably in our Sydney office however the role could be done from any office within Oceania. The EY Private Operations Manager provides tactical deployment support for go-to-market initiatives across our Private accounts. They work closely with the Oceania EY Private Leader and peers to determine the activities, strategy and actions needed to implement targeted Private sector programs that grow pipeline and revenue and drive profitable growth. This individual also plays a key role in idea generation, project and program management, execution and measurement of go-to-market programs and initiatives.
Your key responsibilities
Activate the Oceania Global Account Leader (GAL) program, including community management, delivering events targeted at cross-service line collaboration and development of our leaders of tomorrow.
Work closely with the EY Private leadership team to identify business needs, determine key accounts, co-develop actions and timelines, and align resources in support of go-to-market activities.
Partner with Business Development, Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC), Finance, EY Knowledge and Service Lines to support EY Private account teams and leaders.
Advise the Oceania EY Private Leader on the implementation of new programs and initiatives including the deployment of Private specific solutions/initiatives, identifying new and improved ways to track performance across the portfolio.
Manage offshore teams and leverage their capability to create operational efficiencies, including reporting mechanisms to track accountability and ROI on programs.
Provide operational support to the regional divisions of EY Private assets, which includes Entrepreneurial Winning Women (EWW), Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY), and EY Velocity.
Skills and attributes for success
Demonstrated experience working at a senior level in a fast-moving, client-driven environment
Strong knowledge and demonstrated understanding of the issues, trends and drivers affecting companies in the private sector market (e.g. start-ups, high-growth companies, family businesses, pre/post IPO firms)
Collaborative and able to work well both as part of a team and independently
Succinct and structured oral and written communications skills with proven ability to explain complex concepts in a crisp, clear, concise and graphic-rich style, using appropriate analytics and visualization tools.
Ability to take ownership for delivering customised projects with a high degree of autonomy
