The opportunity

Our Melbourne Transfer Pricing practice is growing and as such we are currently seeking Managers and Senior Managers with a proven track record in Transfer Pricing, to support our clients in managing compliance obligations, navigating tax authority reviews and planning for new international projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager or Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing, to join our team and work on some exciting and high-profile engagements.

As part of our Transfer Pricing team you will have the opportunity to work across a range of clients, from large multinational companies to small start-ups.  Working closely with our international and corporate tax specialists across the EY network, you will also be a part of an integrated team to deliver real-time insights, to help them solve tomorrows problems today. Your key responsibilities

• You will manage a broad range of clients and provide advice on transfer pricing controversy issues, dealings with revenue authorities and assist clients with their transfer pricing compliance
• Assist clients with the design and implementation of transfer pricing policies and frameworks, working closely with all members of the team
• Build strong internal relationships within EY tax and transfer pricing teams locally and globally, as well as other service lines/ sub-service lines
• Develop and maintain deep working relationships with client personnel
• Identify new business development opportunities and drive key account relationships
• Ensure projects run to time and budget and are adequately resourced
• Coach, mentor and support a high performing team and act as an escalation point for junior staff members

We’s love to learn more about you if you have:

• A proven track record in transfer p[ricing with at least 6 years’ experience in transfer pricing within an accounting firm or corporate
• A degree in accounting or law including taxation and international tax or similar
• Ability to translate complex legislation and tax rulings into clear, succinct, well written advice to our clients
• Excellent interpersonal skills and time management capabilities
