The opportunity

Our Melbourne Transfer Pricing practice is growing and as such we are currently seeking Consultants and Senior Consultants with an interest in Transfer Pricing, to support our clients in managing compliance obligations, navigating tax authority reviews and planning for new international projects.

As part of our Transfer Pricing team you will have the opportunity to work across a range of clients, from from large multinational companies to small start-ups.  Working closely with our international and corporate tax specialists across the EY network, you will also be a part of an integrated team to deliver real-time insights. You will also work in a collaborative environment where you’ll have the freedom to shape your career through our comprehensive development programs to help you be the best version of yourself, both inside and outside of work.

Your key responsibilities

• Applying transfer pricing concepts and economic/financial knowledge to resolve client challenges
• Providing fully integrated approaches to transfer pricing, by preparing documents/data files/models and assisting in defending transfer pricing in audits/investigations by applying innovative transfer pricing and economic principles
• Modelling financial outcomes assets and assisting in developing practical planning approaches
• Assisting in negotiating Advance Pricing Arrangements with ATO and other tax authorities
• Project managing multiple engagements to ensure they are delivered to time and budget

We’d love to learn more about you if you have:

• Relevant Transfer Pricing experience in a relevant role either from an industry or professional services background
• Experience in assimilating and communicating complex information and data sources to provide succinct and well-informed recommendations to clients
• Good teaming and leaderships skills with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly
• Good time management skills
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to stay abreast of wider legal, economic, environmental and political factors that influence transfer pricing
