Job Description

We are looking for an Experienced Consultant to join our Global Compensation Services team, part of our Global Mobility practice based in Sydney & Melbourne. This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis.

 EY’s Global Compensation Services team provides an end to end compensation data and reporting service to large global organisations. Our service streamlines compensation management to support tax compliance, while also providing clients with data analytics to assist in understanding and managing the cost of mobility and supporting strategic decision making.

 Our team sits within the People Advisory Services Global Mobility team which supports strategically driven organisations who send employees on assignment globally. We support clients with all aspects of the assignment life cycle. Our services include immigration, tax compliance & advisory, assignment administration and advisory services.

 Your key responsibilities

•    Work with client contacts and EY offices across the globe to co-ordinate collection and reporting of compensation data for tax, payroll and social security compliance
•    Analyse and interpret compensation data from multiple sources including payroll and non-cash benefit information, using automation tools to create efficient processes for managing large volumes of data on a timely basis
•    Assist to design and create data analytics dashboards to meet clients’ needs
•    Work with data automation software to streamline processing and payroll calculations
•    Opportunity to be involved in project management, with responsibility for components of implementation of our service for new clients
•    You will gain direct client experience as part of our account teams, responsible for daily client management and involvement in strategic meetings
•    Help us to build our service across the APAC region, with exciting opportunities to work on clients based across the region, and work with colleagues across the APAC EY network to build up capability across the region
•    Mentor and train junior team members 

 Skills and attributes for success

 We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

•    Experience with visualisation software and/or alteryx to streamline a process or present big data
•    General experience in tax, accounting, finance or payroll or experience in data management and/or analysis 

 To qualify for the role you must have

•    Automation technology
•    Project management/co-ordination
•    Working across a global network
•    Cross border payroll including shadow payroll services

 Ideally, you’ll also have

•    Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
•    High level of attention to detail
•    Strong excel skills, ie able to use basic formulae, pivot tables etc 
•    Innovative mindset, with a focus on process improvement
