We are a small, environmentally motived start-up business creating and delivering tasty low waste, plant-based and gluten free food boxes all over Wellington. Our main focus is environmental sustainability, with our food boxes 100% zero waste and plant based, and delivered to customers by electric vehicle. We are always actively looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact by reducing waste as much as possible, so we are looking for someone who shares these values.
Your Role:
We are looking for a chef who is:
- a confident but compassionate team player,
- creative and innovative
- good at communication, and open minded,
- comfortable with using technology - we use tablets for our recipes and calculating numbers etc.
- strong - we are now cooking in bulk numbers and have some big pots and sacks to lift!
It would be helpful to have a full current license and your own transport to the kitchen, but these are also not mandatory.
Hours & Pay:
Hours are a minimum of 40/week, spread over 5 days, you can do between 6:30am-3pm Monday-Friday, or 9am-5pm Sunday-Thursday. Pay will be negotiated depending on experience. We are also proud to be a Living Wage accredited business!
