Mō tēnei tūranga | About the role

You will be supporting the Deputy Secretary Te Mahau | Te Tai Raro (North). This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a chance to become an Executive Assistant supporting a Senior leader who will be leading the provision of central services to Te Mahau and education organisations.

As the Executive Assistant, you will assist the Deputy Secretary to achieve their goals by managing their diary, monitoring daily schedules, arranging travel arrangements, and keeping them informed of commitments by highlighting conflicts.

The role will be suitable for someone with previous experience as an Executive Assistant or a Personal Assistant with a strong administrative background, and a willingness to learn and do the mahi. In return, this role will offer a collaborative working environment and career progression opportunities within the organisation.

As the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Secretary- Te Mahau | Te Tai Raro (North) you will bring your keenness to learn, grow and develop your understanding and do the mahi to be successful in the role.

You will also bring your high attention to detail, calmness under pressure and have the ability to anticipate the needs of the Deputy Secretary. You will have sound computer knowledge, experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word, etc) and have the ability to perform your duties with considerable confidentiality, initiative, and mature and independent judgment.
