We are looking to establish a casual Events Officer talent pool based at Sydney International Shooting Centre and Southern Highlands Regional Shooting ComplexSydney International Regatta Centre, and Sydney International Equestrian Centre.

This is an exciting and diverse role for a person who is passionate about events! 

We offer a competitive salary to the right candidate with hourly casual rates based on an annual salary of $74,117 up to $81,158 per annum plus 10% superannuation.

About the role

The Events Officer is responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination and operations of all events staged across our Olympic Venues, under the direction of the Events Coordinator. The role involves a mix of administrative duties and outdoor event set-up. The role will also require an ability to work weekends and evenings as required.

About you

You will have the ability to assist in all aspects of event planning, coordination, marketing, and operations. As part of this diverse role, you will also liaise with event organisers to predict demand for infrastructure and services to support events.

You can deal effectively and professionally with business clients and industry stakeholders whilst managing their expectations and balancing competing priorities. You foster a positive customer experience, and you are technology savvy.

Having a strong willingness to learn to operate heavy equipment is highly desirable.
