Job Description

You’ll be part of the Chief Architect’s large team that aims to innovate and develop technological targets to fast-track our transformation over the coming years. We need your drive and talent to succeed!

  • Your role as an IT Enterprise Architect:
    • Documentation capacity manager:
      • Bring a new vision to enterprise architecture documentation related to LeanIX
      • Create a roadmap for the tool according to the vision
      • Coordinate the execution of work based on the roadmap while collaborating with the teams involved
      • Develop an approach to increase integration and use of LeanIX among architects and other stakeholders at the Bank
      • Help the Architecture Process, Measures and Performance Lead apply the enterprise architecture to the different processes, data and interfaces at the Bank
    • Work with various stakeholders to develop and maintain the capabilities needed to manage the IT architecture
    • Be the domain expert for stakeholders in the business and technological sectors
    • Maintain the target architecture and roadmap for the transformation of technology ecosystems  
    • Provide project support while ensuring that the solutions implemented adhere to Open Architecture guidelines and the Bank's architecture standards
    • Validate the functional and technical aspects of solutions to ensure the Bank's business needs and standards are met
    • Monitor and keep abreast of business and IT trends and best practices
    • Serve as a professional reference and offer expertise and advice to stakeholders.

  • Completed bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or completed master’s degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced experience using the LeanIX tool and knowledge of its service offering
  • Excellent knowledge of the documentation needs of enterprise architecture
  • Excellent ability to foster collaboration and teamwork and encourage frank and effective discussions on fundamental issues
  • In-depth knowledge of concepts, technology, and solutions related to a modern digital ecosystem (Microservices, API, streaming, security, elasticity, PaaS, SaaS cloud, DevOps, etc.)
  • Understanding of how the architecture component is applied in a cloud-based environment
  • Innovative spirit and ability to rethink and redefine ways of approaching practices, controls and technological governance capabilities needed to properly manage IT architecture
  • Strong analytical and summarizing skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French)
