Job Description

This position is responsible for the design and installation of projects. Engineering Project Manager - Controls is responsible for deploying his/her engineering know-how to successfully execute and deliver projects to the business that provide a competitive advantage.

What are we looking for?

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or other applicable electrical or controls degree.
  • In depth knowledge of industrial low voltage electrical systems, instrumentation, PLC (preferably Allen-Bradley Logix), HMI/SCADA, and industrial control networks. 
  • Fundamental knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)/Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) systems, Factory IT Systems (physical/virtual servers, networks), and Factory Cyber Security requirements. 
  • Working knowledge of local codes and regulations (NFPA/NEC/UL).
  • Fundamental understanding of project management.  
  • Fluent in English

Preferred

  • 5+ years’ experience in work experience in automation control - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry
  • Rockwell FactoryTalk View experience
  • Understanding Power System

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Provide input into project development process in terms of technical feasibility, innovative ideas, scope, specifications, schedule, and feasibility estimates for electrical and automation systems.   
  • Support capital projects through peer reviews and technical support to ensure projects have proper controls support, plans, and documentation.
  • Provide project management for electrical and automation projects ensuring proper delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and cash flow. 
  • Support building central and site control associate’s knowledge and capability with electrical and automation systems.
  • Support and participate in electrical and automation standards development and deployment.
