Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Platform Engineering Leader and an effective people manager to lead engineering teams. This role is within State Street’s Global Technology Services – Office of Architecture organization, will report to Managing Director, India Head.

•Build and operations of high quality, secure and reliable platform to meet the business needs

•Collaborate with the product teams to identify new platform requirements and lead the technology team to deliver those requirements

•Partner with the other application development teams to provide front to back solutions that benefit our customers

Core/Must have skills

18+ years of IT experience; 5+ years of experience as a manager of managers leading software engineering teams

A passion for driving cultural change in technical excellence, quality and efficiency

Expertise in building and leading successful large scale cloud native platform that powers data products, services and app development. Experience working with one of the leading public clouds (AWS, Google, Azure) and Kubernetes preferred

Agile Leadership/Digital Transformation experience. Excellent communication and time-management skills

Open to learning, collaboration, and willing to give and receive feedback

Good to have skills

A passion for driving cultural change in technical excellence, quality and efficiency

Comfortable with working in a transformation environment, with some ambiguity and evolving products, platforms and services as necessary.

Experience with delivery of shared platform services - automation, DevSecOps, User Experience, Data, AI/ML Services.
