Engineer 2 - TIBCO– Contract – Denver, CO. - $65.00-$70.00/hr

An American Company is seeking an Engineer 2 – TIBCO in Denver, CO.
Role Description
• Participate in Spring planning, Spring retrospective, daily stand-up activities
• Participate in 24X7 on-call responsibilities
• Responsible for research, identify and resolve technical problems within needed time frames
• Analyze service errors, identify performance issues and optimize solutions
• Maintain server and software health by applying patches and resolving any vulnerabilities
• Monitoring of the Production systems
• Proactive monitoring of applications supported
• Monitor and report on system health post upgrades & deployment
• Monitor and report on source handshake and status of pending jobs
• Mitigate known issues
• Perform smoke testing for Nordstrom.com when required
• Support production release activity
Day to day support
• Perform log analysis when job failures occur in production systems
• Resolve issues in case of job failures
• Do quick code fix or data fix as required to resolve issues
• Conduct defect root cause analysis
• Coordinate with teams to resolve permissions issues
• Provide support during outages for holding and releasing jobs, including sending out notifications
• Respond to all alerts as require
• Escalate issues to appropriate owners
• Research issues using standard Nordstrom processes and tools
• Create stories for new issues
• Facilitate batch job processing
• This position may be required to perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements
• 5+ years of professional experience in TIBCO Business Works
• JAVA development
• Collaboration – needs to have worked with larger teams and other disciplines / cross-functional (ideally program and product management)
Additional skills
• Experience with AWS; buckets, roles, server migrations
• Experience with multiple platform; Unix, Linux, Windows etc.
• Experience with Splunk; dashboarding and alerting
• Familiarity with JIRA
• Familiarity with ServiceNow
