We are looking for a Senior End User Compute Engineer to join our team in central Auckland.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Act as an escalation for the BAU Level 3 support team
• Work on continuous improvement items via Agile delivery/KANBAN Board
• Opportunity to work on complex and varied projects
• Lead problem management and contribute to post incident reviews
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to help deliver business outcomes 
• Maintain process and technology documentation
• Provide technical leadership across the EUC space including desktop management, patch management, device policy management and provisioning.
• You will be working in a large-scale enterprise environment supporting 6,000+ endpoints with exposure to new technologies as they evolve
• Be able to do rotational on-call once you are familiar with the environment
• Carry out changes?

About You:

• Advanced skills/experience in Microsoft Desktop OS support and troubleshooting
• Advanced Group Policy management skills
• Intermediate SCCM experience including administration, support and application/package deployment.
• 5 Plus years supporting end user computing 
• Intermediate experience with PowerShell scripting
• Intermediate experience supporting Active Directory in a hybrid environment
• Experience supporting Exchange Online and Hybrid Exchange
• Experience supporting enterprise sized clients
• Professionalism and technical excellence
• Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills and initiative
• Great communication skills and ability to communicate with various business stakeholders
• Skills or experience with InTune or Azure Virtual desktop an advantage
• You will need the right to work full-time in New Zealand

Required Qualifications

• Microsoft related certifications
• A+
• ITIL would be advantageous
