Are you ready to join our team of designers, builders and integrators of world class trading technology?  Are you motivated by accomplishing remarkable things that have a positive impact and change the world?  As our Electronic Trading Server Administrator, you will work with our developers, quants, traders and technology experts to implement, test and continuously deliver new features, services and products to our customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain all Electronic Trading Server infrastructure as well as related operational services.
• Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of our infrastructure, specifically physical and virtual computing products and services.
• Proactively monitor all Electronic Trading Server Infrastructure utilizing standard or customized tools.
• Liaise with Electronic Trading Team to gather requirements, design and deploy optimal solutions.
• Identify operational and infrastructure risks within the environment and work with the Electronic Trading Team to make corrections and mitigate risks.
• Ensure optimal resilience of deployed systems; and meet all disaster recovery requirements specified by the business.
• Liaise with all relevant support groups in troubleshooting complex, cross-platform issues.
• Ensure that all systems are backed up according to the business requirements and notify the data owners when there are failures.
• Maintain complete inventory and documentation of deployed systems.
• Provide 24/7/365 primary support of all Trading RedHat Linux servers globally.

• Bachelor's degree in Technical program preferred or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Linux administration.
• Strong knowledge of RedHat Enterprise 7.x administration - certification an asset.
• Strong knowledge of system performance and monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and basic networking.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (bash, Python, Perl, Ansible). Familiar with virtualization or cloud computing.
• Comfortable performing system upgrades, installing layered products, and analyzing and troubleshooting complex production systems.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Hardware experience - racking hardware and replacing internal components.
• Prior experience working in a fast paced Ultra low latency Trading environment is an asset.
