Position: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN - Full Time Permanent

Salary $55000 to $65000 Plus Super

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Installation of Solar Systems and Solar Panels,
2. In charge of maintenance and repairs of Solar Electrical Panels, equipment and Components,
3. Regular testing & undertake required repairs & upgrades,
4. Monitor, identify faults and perform repairs on Solar Panels,
5. Schedule Maintenance & carry out electrical repairs
6. Ensure effective and efficient utilisation of Solar Electrical Panels, equipment’s & Components,
7. Purchase of solar panels, parts, equipment and components,
8. Maintain Records - Record Keeping - Purchases
9. Maintain logbooks & records - maintenance, repairs & replacements - Solar Panels
10. All installations and repairs are completed in a timely and effective manner.
11. Replace faulty parts & components and provide invoices/receipts
12. Visit sites and prepare quotes for clients/customers & estimate the overall costs
13. Visit sites and take pictures, prepare sketches and plans of site for installation of Solar Panels
14. Provide technical/maintenance assistance for clients/customers from time to time
15. If require, contact the Solar Panel Manufacturer for technical assistance
16. Undertake Training
17. Work under supervision of Manager / Senior Electricians
18. Ensure all handy tools, appliances & equipment’s are working effectively and efficiently,
19. Comply with all E H & S. Ensure safety of Equipment 
20. Ensures all safety & operating procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment
