Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a high speed production or manufacturing setting – including line control systems utilizing programmable controllers (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, etc.), and writing and troubleshooting control programs.
• Strong technical knowledge showing broad understanding of electrical power and controls design and installation, a proven record of delivering engineering outputs to achieve scheduled targets, and experience with facilities power distribution (including voltages to 600v & three phase) and control systems and subsystems. 
• Management experience preferred. 
• Must be available to work various shifts if needed and be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime to cover absences or provide additional support

Preferred Requirements

• Packaging industry experience
• Certification in Six Sigma (Green, Black or Master Black Belt) desirable

Competencies

• Skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint as well as various CAD software
• Proven problem solving skills and experience using analytical approaches to problems
• Project management experience
• Proven oral and written communication skills
• Effective interpersonal and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects to completion
• Ability to work effectively both as an individual and in a team environment using collaborative methods
• Must be committed to ongoing personal training and development
