Kidzone has been operating for over 30 years and the strong, experienced teaching team is key to its success.

As a centre, we have opted into the NZEI pay parity and are party to the ECE collective agreement.
We work in a mixed age setting with tamariki aged 1 - 5 years old and a maximum of 25 children in a day.
We are a community-based, family-run childcare centre in the heart of the Newtown community. We believe in strongly upholding the profession of Early Childhood Teaching. We are committed to providing outstanding care and education to our tamariki and welcome teachers who share our vision and philosophy.
About you:
As a teacher, you will teach in a way that reflects and incorporates the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Standards and Code of Professional Responsibility.
Having the skills to engage with families/whÄnau and their tamariki and build positive relationships and partnerships with the Governance Group, other whÄnau and wider community are ideal. An advantage would be to have a great working knowledge of Te WhÄriki
