We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Document Controller to join us at South Bank.

As the Document Controller you will be responsible for processing internal and external documentation while maintaining the use of the organisation’s multiple document management systems and processes.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Maintaining project related document control registers
  • Planning, supervising, and recording document flow to and from all necessary parties, including clients, subcontractors, and project offices
  • Coordinate vendor documentation, drawing control, transmittals, and engineering deliverables
  • Audit document control registers and systems
  • Ensuring drawings and documents are registered with correct revision & details and issued within the requested time frame
  • Issuing project documentation to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide document control support to the engineering teams in Australia and internationally

What are we looking for?

  • At least five years’ experience of document control within an engineering project office
  • Skills in vendor data and revision control
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word etc)
  • Aconex experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Good initiative and ability to prioritise your tasks and work well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team, communicating with other offices regularly
  • Written and spoken English at an intermediate level
