The role:

Edmen are seeking 3 Disability Support Workers to work in Kingaroy. You will support adults with physical and intellectual disabilities and provide assistance with personal care/hygiene, medication support, use manual handing equipment for transfers, medical appointments, social activities and other aspects of daily living.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 months experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Current Blue & Yellow 
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence and be willing to transport people in your car when required
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualification or be willing to obtain these
  • You will need the ability to be flexible and resilient in various challenging situations
  • Have experience with personal care, using manual handling equipment & assisting with medication medications
  • Demonstrated experience working with BOC (behaviours of concern)
  • Be able to work a 24/7 hr rotating roster which will include on call and emergency shifts
