About Arrive:
Arrive, a venture focused on the newcomer space, is seeking a talented, experienced and passionate Senior Product Manager to join our team. We want vocal futurists who have a passion for technology and are inspired by the idea of bringing to life product roadmaps that benefit hundreds of thousands of people at a key milestone in their lives.
Over 1 million newcomers are expected to land in Canada in the next 3 years, with the goal of making Canada their new home. At Arrive, we are obsessed with building a word-class products for a worldwide audience. Our team is driven by our mission to help newcomers thrive in Canada.
What will you do?
As part of the Senior Management team, work with our management and product teams to develop and build a new product line, to complement our current suite of products
In partnership with our Product team, build a product roadmap, translating customer needs and business requirements into product features
Work cross-functionally with our customer success, marketing and operations teams to build an enabling solution that elevates our current services
Conduct customer interviews, user testing and market research to understand our customer journey and ensure we build a best in class solution that effectively solves customer needs
Evaluate and document the requirements for each product feature, articulate these requirements, answer questions and make scope trade off decisions as needed
Define and detail user stories, and prioritize team backlogs in accordance to our business drivers
Develop and track key performance metrics to continuously evaluate and improve our solutions
What do you need to succeed?
6+ years of working experience within a product management or start-up role
Passion for solving problems in creative and unconventional ways
Self-starter with an ability to deal with ambiguity
Experience leading product teams and taking new products from ideation to launch to scale
Demonstrated product experience for a mobile or digital consumer product
Proven ability to make hard decisions in a fast-paced environment, while actively identifying and mitigating issues that have an impact on successful completion of goals
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the integrity and confidence to liaise with executives and senior management
High degree of organization and ability to multitask and shift priorities
Knowledge of agile processes and principles, with the ability to provide direction to the agile team and stakeholders throughout
Extensive experience developing use cases, epics and stories in a clear and concise manner, enabling the engineering team to deliver maximum productivity and value
Demonstrable experience maintaining and prioritizing the backlog in accordance with business and technology drivers
Understanding of data and analytics
