The basics

Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent) in related field required. Masters’ degree (or international equivalent) in related field preferred.Minimum ten years of related professional work experience. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted.At least 5 years of supervisory experience.In depth knowledge of accounting principles, finance and funder regulations (especially USAID).Excellent organizational skills and strong customer service focus and analytical skills.Strong accounting knowledge, analytical/problem solving skills, creativity and initiative.Strong financial analysis and Excel skills.Demonstrated experiences in country office finance leadership positions.Experience with large ERP systems, such as Infor Lawson, as well as knowledge of QuickBooks preferred.Chartered Accountant/CPA equivalent preferred.
