WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
In this role as a Director, Identity Analytics & Governance, you will create and influence a clear Identity analytics and governance model, track regular metrics and reporting and operationalize analytics, designed to reduce risk and increase compliance across RBC and its subsidiaries (e.g. CNB).
As part of RBC’s digital transformation we are building a data analytics & identity governance pillar with the mandate to consolidate, cleanse, govern, and enrich our IAM data to make strong data driven strategic decisions.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Define in collaboration with the Identity & Access Management Strategy team, develop and implement the model and methods by which Identity & Access Management governs user identities & access and lead improvements of the model in partnerships with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise.
- Advise senior management on IAM- related risks and security posture as it relates to the analytics model data.
- Establish, enforce & communicate IAM governance policies and identity related risks with senior management and key stakeholders.
- Use deep business domain knowledge to independently lead the analytics process to identify valuable and innovative insights.
- Promote analytics across the enterprise to enable RBC to become a data-driven organization.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have
- 7+ years of Identity & Access Management experience
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Sociology, Psychology
- 5+ years of experience in data mining, and statistics.
- Ability to perform complex data analysis, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and present findings to stakeholders including executives.
- Effective leadership skills, including the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, build teams & consensus and get things done through others.
Nice-to-have:
- Expert data extract, transform, and load processes with a variety of data types
- Strong knowledge of design, development, and implementation experience utilizing data science technologies
- 5+ years of experience with big data analysis
