Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 15 years of sales leadership experience in the sales/business development function, including experience leading teams
  • 10 years of experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and/or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) sales role, and experience growing and leading an organization
  • 10 years of experience selling IT solutions to companies

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Experience in customer engagement, including growing the business/product with C-level decision makers
  • Experience in cloud computing
  • Understanding of enterprise software/infrastructure marketplace, key players, and technical factors driving landscape
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to be a change management leader that envisions new approaches to the business, advocates them to the right stakeholders, and leads the change process, including experience with marketing or sales support in developing product, solution messaging, narratives, and value propositions
  • Outstanding problem solving, technical, cross-functional leadership, collaboration, and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail and communication/presentation skills

In this role, you will be the representative of Google Cloud and will drive how Central Strategic industries, partners, and consumers view Google Cloud. You will have responsibility for the strategy and execution of the organization’s business plan, as well as the goal for achieving milestones within the market. Your role will be to drive business growth and customer acquisition for Google Cloud. In addition, you will be the point of contact for Google Cloud Canada Strategic Industries internally and will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and an integrated go-to-market with other organizations, including Marketing and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Canada Strategic Industries Google Cloud strategy. Deliver growth for Google Cloud Canada Strategic Industries, including attracting and developing a team. Manage Canada Strategic Industries Sales Leadership team.
  • Lead people through change and leverage team resources cross-functionally.
  • Contribute to the growth and direction of Google Cloud products and services. Ensure product launches are successfully communicated to the local market. Build plans for business growth, go-to-market, adoption, and thought leadership, and build scalable processes and promote Google Cloud products.
  • Develop appropriate business playbooks, tools, and guides to increase engagement in accounts and develop excellent strategies.
  • Understand customer requirements to develop/provide custom presentations on products to solve their business problems. Tailor solutions and product collateral to the needs of the market.
