We are looking for a Digital Web & SEO Manager who can challenge the status quo when working with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure innovation and best-in-class online client experiences.
The Digital Web & SEO Manager will be responsible for a team of 3 and report into the Marketing Technology lead. This role will drive strategic direction and strategy for web and search engine optimisation projects. The role also requires working closely with our content team to assist with the firm’s content strategy. You must be able to develop strategies, roadmaps and timelines that support our B2B demand generation and other EY Oceania programs through the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. You will be able to deliver relevant content and experiences that not only drive people to the EY website but give them a compelling reason to stay.
As the Digital Web & SEO Manager, you must be an excellent communicator with the ability to inspire, coach and train the onshore and offshore web team to provide first-class client online experiences and increase leads. You will also be flexible, motivated, and willing to roll up your sleeves during peak periods. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis and can be based in any of our office locations across Australia.
Your key responsibilities
Shape and develop Oceania’s web/seo strategy to grow new and returning visitors year-over-year, extend sessions, page views, and increase conversion rates
Provide key stakeholders with web migration recommendations during mergers and acquisitions
Project manage global website enhancements, including delivery timelines, risk assessment, quality control, and ensure seamless communications with internal stakeholders
Proactively manage web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost web presence, monitor SEO/SEM and marketing performance metrics to forecast trends, and analyse measurable data and advise on how the impact of marketing campaigns can be continually analysed and optimised
Collaborate with campaign and content marketing staff on web design, development, and monitor and improve search engine optimisation (SEO) results for our Oceania website
Manage small web team both locally and offshore to ensure changes are implemented to the AEM platform and to ensure the site is setup for optimal success
Project manage the rollout of Adobe Target and perform A/B testing for sites to increase conversion rates and maximise user experience using Adobe Target
Responsible for informing and collaborating with the leadership team on website taxonomy and placements. Plus, must work closely with marketing leads on content and provide insights on User Experience (UX) best practices to ensure our clients have a seamless online experience
Measure and interpret data to include customer profiling and behaviour across customer journey mapping and web traffic data
Stay ahead of industry trends and developments by conducting research, engaging in training, building relationships with partners, and participating in industry learnings and webinars
Engage and collaborate with the global EY.com network to implement new website improvements and advocate for changes that will improve the client experience
Skills and attributes for success
The successful candidate must be highly experienced in driving and developing web and SEO strategies. Must have a strong track record with advising internal colleagues and stakeholders on how to build successful web pages that drive seamless client experiences. We are looking for someone with 7+ years’ experience in a digital web & SEO marketing role, either in-house or agency background, who has worked with corporate, financial, or professional services organisations.
7+ years of experience driving strategy and execution of impactful B2B web strategy and optimisation initiatives
Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or equivalent experience
5+ years’ experience with AEM content management system (AEM is preferred but must have some experience with other CMS technologies)
Hands-on experience with conversion rate optimisation, including running a/b tests
Solid technical SEO experience with proven results
Strong organisation, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to react to shifting priorities
Must be detail-oriented and have a keen eye for detail as accuracy is essential
Must have people management experience and a willingness to drive change
Process-driven, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
Comfortable working in a very fast-paced, complex, yet dynamic work environment
Able to multitask on a variety of different projects with strong project and time management skills, with high stakeholder accountability and expectation management
Must be able to take direction from leadership and provide strategic insight
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and must be comfortable with presenting to virtual teams
Must ensure adherence to EYs data privacy policies, processes, and regulatory and legislative requirements
