The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. We’re looking for innovative team players ready to take some of the most well-known entertainment brands in the country to the next level.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead digital revenue generation for the Toronto market
  • Work in a peer-to-peer relationship with all the Account Managers in Toronto to help maximize sales opportunities
  • Travel as needed to see clients (post COVID)
  • Work as a positive agent for change in style and thinking at the station level across all departments
  • Actively participate in marketing and sales meetings as well as divisional calls as required
  • Initiate and manage ideas for the Account Managers and assist them in selling
  • Be an expert at recognizing and properly identifying key issues that are impeding progress as they arise throughout the year
  • Brainstorm ideas for interactive features to increase online sales opportunities and continuously have new ideas/packages to offer sales
  • Work closely with the GSMs and Director of Digital Sales to continuously eliminate obstacles to success
  • Train and develop any new Account Managers, Managers and team members that join the organization
  • Keep on top of latest digital trends, research, information etc. and assess value to the business
  • Be an active participant and regional leader in all digital training exercises for the benefit of all Account executives in Toronto
  • Work with General Sales Managers and Director of Digital Sales to develop sales materials and pricing for Bell Media’s digital products (Product and Pricing Guide)
  • Have a superior command of the product capabilities and be able to flawlessly and passionately communicate to any audience
  • Produce weekly sales report including actual sales, presell activity and pending sales
  • Ensure successful execution of campaigns including compiling follow up reports
  • Create and execute client facing sales presentations in collaboration with the region’s Account Executives

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of digital sales experience
  • 2 – 3 years of radio and/or television experience is a strong asset
  • 2 - 3 years of sales experience
  • Knowledgeable regarding the metrics of traditional media, especially radio, television and print as well as the metrics of new and emerging media
  • A self-starter, outgoing, assertive with great communication skills
  • An dynamic presenter
  • Highly organized
  • Superior interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Experienced in selling creative interactive products with proven non-traditional revenue-generating account successes
  • Comfortable with a strategic selling approach
  • Able to develop client proposals using all relevant software programs including Word, Excel, Power Point and related graphics programs
  • Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic/Sales Systems, VCI Orion, and BBM/Numeris would be an asset.
  • Valid Drivers License and vehicle or means to get to client and other meetings as needed (when it is safe to travel)

 

Hours of work:         

  • 37.5 hours per week, overtime as required 

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
