Location - Currently remote, open to candidates from Ottawa or Toronto. Ideally candidate will be located in Toronto. Candidate will need to show proof of vaccination if asked to work on site.

JOB PROFILE SUMMARY

Working in the DevSecOps CoE, this team is a core group of individuals with specific technical, business and management skills that acts as an evangelist for DevSecOps, supporting projects, IT Operations and enterprise transformation initiatives. Acts as a clearinghouse of knowledge and a designer/developer of automated DevSecOps processes. This team is the glue that keeps the development and operations deployment or the continuous delivery pipeline moving seamlessly keeping security at the core at every step. This team of multi-faceted architects provide guidance and advisory to automate and manage all aspects of the software development life cycle as it moves through the deployment pipeline. Broad understanding of continuous integration and delivery drives these members to continuously seek new and innovative ways to streamline the process that enables effective delivery of products to the operations team. These dedicated souls manage the tools strategy and roadmap which are used to enable the delivery of Agile products and product lines whilst managing the tactical challenges of keeping the CI engine tuned to deliver. This team also plays an important role in providing consultation and advisory to the business solution delivery teams as well as the IT operations team.

 As a DevSecOps Architect / Consultant –

•    You will be responsible for performing and preparing gap analysis document and design a proposed DevSecOps adoption roadmap.

•    You will analyze the current state IT environment to achieve stated business goals using DevSecOps methodology and tools in conventional or Cloud environments.

•    You will architect the DevSecOps tooling infrastructure and define the interface requirements among the various tool sets.

•    In this role you will analyze the software build and deploy requirements for a project, portfolio, or account and define the architecture.

•    You will design the deployment, and release management strategy using the necessary standard enterprise software tools.

•    You will lead and help implement enterprise DevSecOps framework, governance model, integration model, maturity model and operating model

•    Establish DevSecOps Controls, guidelines and standards for auditability and operability.

•    You will design and lead implementation for enterprise autonomous operations.

•    You will lead tools / technology rationalization efforts to streamline and standardize enterprise tools / technology offerings aligning with enterprise technology roadmap

•    You will define and implement deployment strategy and standards.

•    You will define and implement branching and merging strategies and standards

•    You will integrate site reliability engineering principles and practices into DevSecOps framework and operating model.

* Required Technical and Professional Expertise / Must Haves *

•    6+ years equivalent DevSecOps experience including hands on open source or vendor specific tooling knowledge. (Must)

•    5+ Years leading and implementing full stack end-to-end automation, implementing test automation (Must)

•    2+ Years implementing autonomous operations using AI/ML. (Must)

•    5+ Years working with Agile development and project management methodologies.

•    5+ years source control experience administering version control systems

•    5+ years understanding of containerization technology.

•    5+ years of establishing and enhancing enterprise engagement model, integration model, maturity model and operating model

•    DevOps / DevSecOps architecture certification (Nice to Have),

•    5+ Understanding of microservices, common frameworks, implementation, and best practices.

•    5+ years of API Gateway, Service Discovery, API environment specific configurations, API keys, API user management.

•    Understanding of 12 Factor Principle and cloud native development

•    5+ years experience with integrating information security requirements into DevOps pipelines.
