As the Bank continues its technological transformation, it has started migrating its applications to the cloud. We are looking for a collaborative and dynamic DevOps developer to contribute to the migration. As a member of our development team, you will contribute to our various present and future products:

Deployment and maintenance of cloud infrastructures

Development and integration of data transformation

Implementation and development of the DevOps pipeline

Implementation of automated GitOps processes

Use of generic build tools to standardize pipelines

Connections to multiple data sources

Your day-to-day tasks:

Serve as an expert advisor to develop and support the micro-service already in place

Participate in data architecture, development, testing, deployment, and delivery of data flows from services, data warehouses, and third parties

Maintain the disaster recovery plan

Take your place in an agile, multi-disciplinary, scrum-based team

Share new ideas and learn from other team members

Serve as a coach to colleagues less experienced with DevOps

Your responsibilities:

Develop in Python on the different code repositories

Contribute to the adoption of the various Cloud & DevOps tools available at the Bank, by developing generic tools or contributing directly to the code of other teams

Provide new and creative ideas that can be transformed into features or products

Document and share information to ensure the continuous transfer of knowledge

Minimum skills required:

Relevant experience in Python or an equivalent language

Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including programming standards, code review, source code management, and testing

Solid experience in creating, operating, and maintaining APIs

Ability to work independently on tasks and deliver high-quality work

Ability to work on a team and open to receiving comments and feedback 

Strong ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment 

Excellent oral and written communication and simplification skills

Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)

Complementary skills:

Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure

Interest in software and information security

Basic knowledge of security best practices

Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, SQL, JQL, JSON

Knowledge of integration and continuous deployment

Database management

Experience with Azure Data Warehouse

Experience with Azure SQL Database

Knowledge of Power BI
