Experience and knowledge in providing logical and physical level technology analysis at both the architectural and design level of systems implementation.

Hands on Experience with API Gateway, API routing, APIs, REST services and integrations

Assignment Type: This position is currently listed as "Hybrid" due to COVID-19 related work from home direction. Once HSC staff are required to return to the office, the resource under this request may be required to work onsite as well.

Experience with WebSphere applications servers, WebSphere Portal, Process Server, DataPower, Electronic Forms, API Gateway, API routing, APIs, REST services and integrations

• Experience with design and architecture services for Cloud Solutions

• Experience with Unix scripting & deployment automations

• Experience with development framework/technologies

• Experience in middleware software installation, configuration, deployment tuning and administration, as well as experience with application development

• Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications

• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in n-tier and structured methodologies and service oriented architecture for the architectural design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications

• Experience administering Unix based environments

* Experience with virtualization technologies; VMware, Server virtualization; and within the following application development frameworks: Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, AngularJS, Python, Node.JS, HTML, JavaScript, C++, SQL, API, Microservices, and container technologies (Docker)

• Experience with middleware application suite such as but not limited to;(1) IBM WebSphere Application Server/NDM;(2) IBM WebSphere Process Server/BPEL;(3) Crystal Enterprise Reporting System;(4) Message Brokering/Queueing;(5) Portal Services (6) IBM DataPower (7)

Deployment Automation (8) Middleware Monitoring tools e.g. ITCAM (9) IBM Curam

Strong working/architecture knowledge of N-Tier environments, Intel and Unix platforms, Microsoft Operating Systems, Solaris Operating Systems, Networking.

Technology vision and architectural leadership

Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture gating processes

Extensive hands-on experience with technology aspect of Service-Oriented and Container/ Component-based architecture and design

Extensive experience with the implementation in Middleware technology such as JMS, MQ Series and ESBs (Enterprise Service Bus).

Experience in SOA, SOAP, Web Services and Messaging technology.

Experience in the Logical and Physical Architectural design of enterprise cross ministry applications.

Experience in GO-PKI and True Pass Security infrastructure.

Knowledge and understanding of OPS Corporate I&IT information architecture strategy, policies, plans, current and emerging IT architecture principles, methodologies, mechanisms and techniques, to analyze, develop and implement application and technology architecture

Experience with Project Management in leading Multi-jurisdictional Enterprise level projects

Experience working in human resource, communications or organizational development role

Enterprise Architecture Skills - 30%

Demonstrated competency and experience with the Zachman framework Demonstrated knowledge and experience with business/information/application/ technology/security architectures with enterprise architecture

Extensive experience providing application and security architecture for complex enterprise-wide projects

Implementation & Integration - 25%

10+ years of experience in the development of internet/intranet applications of enterprise-wide large, medium or small size, multi platform, n-tier, multi component applications

5+ years’ of demonstrated competency and experience in implementing physical infrastructure environments and integrating IBM WebSphere process server, WebSphere Application Server, and Oracle DB

Demonstrated experience with AODA

Enterprise Security Solution & Java Application Development - 10%

10+ years’ of experience in enterprise application development focused around the use   of features such as SOA, Service BUS, Identity service, Single Sign On, Digital Identity, Identity Access management, communication, interface, Omni-channel design, access control, web services, JAVA, J2EE, SAML, and J2EE security

Demonstrated experience with providing application and security architecture for complex enterprise-wide projects

Demonstrated architecture experience with business process management applications, specifically with Java / BPEL

Public Sector Experience - 5%

Experience with the large Enterprise Architecture Approval process (ACT / ARB) and the IT gating process would be an asset
