Our Australian Financial Services Technology Solutions Delivery (TSD) practice helps our clients deliver complex business and regulatory transformation, enabled by technology. This practice is currently experiencing unprecedented growth across the market.

We are looking to add Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 (D365) and Power Platform Designers and Developers with strong Microsoft experience and skills to deliver Microsoft solutions at leading financial services and fintech institutions in the region. 

The opportunity

You’ll have the opportunity to work on business-critical engagements, where the underlying technology solution is powered by Microsoft. Our go-to-market strategy is business issue-led and heavily informed by demand from our clients and financial services industry trends. These engagements will be for organisations offering banking, capital markets, insurance, wealth and/or asset management products and services.

All of our technology work combines EY’s rich end to end business experience be it in marketing, sales, servicing, operations, risk, finance, compliance, or tax, with best-of-breed underlying technology supplied by our alliance partners such as Microsoft. Your key responsibilities

Engagement delivery: You will be a key delivery team member contributing to Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 (D365) and Power Platform solutions. You will be instrumental in successful delivery of business outcomes to our clients as part of broader multi-technology solutions delivery strategy working within a multi-geographically located delivery team environment

Teaming and team leadership: You will be a team player working within high performing teams as well as contributing to team leadership and coaching of more junior team members 

Personal development: You will be expected to continually expand your learning and development in technology solutions transformation and consulting, including developing further depth in Microsoft training and certifications in alignment with client and market needs

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have: 

At least one Microsoft Associate level certification from the following list, noting retired equivalents will be considered:

Azure Developer Associate 

Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate

Dynamics 365 Field Service Functional Consultant Associate

Dynamics 365 Marketing Functional Consultant Associate

Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate

Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate

Power Platform App Maker Associate

Power Platform Developer Associate

At least one Microsoft Foundations level certifications from the following list, noting retired equivalents will be considered:

Azure Fundamentals

Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (General)

Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM)

Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP)

Power Platform Fundamentals

2+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Azure, D365 and/or Power Platform including:

Deep technical knowledge of at least 1 of these product sets

Experience delivering 2 or more Microsoft implementations across at least build and test related phases/activities 

3+ years working in general technology delivery and/or technology consulting roles

1+ years working in financial services industry (i.e. banking, capital markets, insurance, wealth and/or asset management)

Ideally, you will also have: 

A university bachelor’s degree (equivalent or higher) is preferred; however, we are open to outstanding candidates who may have followed an alternative academic path

Team leadership experience (2 or more FTE over 3+ months)

Nice to haves include:

Microsoft speciality certifications

Any other Microsoft product set certifications e.g. Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals or Azure Database Admin Associate

Broader technology consulting experience in any industry (management reports, IT operating models, etc)

Broader solution or application architecture experience (i.e. beyond Microsoft application architecture alone)

Experience/certifications in other big technology providers such as SAP, IBM, Pega, etc
