The IT Delivery group supporting the Employee Experience sector is currently seeking a Scrum Master for the team in charge of the sector’s applications. This role is central to the sector’s transformation that includes rolling out new Agile work practices and various initiatives of all scales. It also involves providing encouraging support in a constantly changing field with quality partners.

The Scrum Master will use their agility and coaching skills to update the Agile practices of the entire team, adopting an end-to-end approach based on different experiences to enhance the experience of all Bank employees.

Your role

• Be responsible for defining, planning, organizing and delivering the functions of your multidisciplinary team
• Supervise and facilitate the daily activities of the multidisciplinary teams under your responsibility
• Support managers in sound project management practices (budgets, timelines, risks and issues, etc.)
• Coach your less-experienced colleagues on using the Agile methodology and suggest improvements that support the delivery of functions
• Diagnose problem situations, take action and help resolve complex problems by implementing solutions
• Identify and manage the risks and issues inherent to the project in a consistent, proactive manner
• Produce various reports to track the progress of the project and provide progress reports while adapting your communications to the audience
• Manage stakeholders and maintain good relationships with internal and external collaborators
• Support your team and other project managers in managing interdependencies and roadblocks.

Your profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience OR other diploma and several years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in a Scrum Master role, essential
• Experience in projects affecting human resources and the employee experience, an asset
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills 
• Ability to explain issues, risks and business objectives in simple terms
• Strong communication skills and ability to summarize information to people at all levels of the organization
• Effective cooperation and accountability
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French).
