What is the opportunity?
As a member of EPM team and a dynamic group of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) technical specialists, The job involves leading the development, design, configuring and support of the TM1 models in line with industry best practices while collaborating with Business stakeholders and extended Finance teams. IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) technical specialists focuses on providing enterprise class design and solutions in the space of planning, budgeting, forecasting, allocations and financial consolidation to their finance partners.
What will you do?
Drive Implementation and lead development and technical efforts for EPM using IBM PA suite of products
Design innovative solution using best practices and customizing for the business specific needs.
Make the granular design decisions around acquiring, loading data, coding principles.
Be a hands-on SME advising, implementing, testing and training.
Communicate timely and accurate updates on the various initiatives, update on any risks following the set protocols.
Collaborate. You will work closely with internal and external contacts to ensure we are delivering a robust solutions meeting client’s specifications.
Mentor. You will support and mentor the developers and support teams.
Develops, codes, documents and executes unit test, system, integration and acceptance test for functions of high complexity.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:
5+ years of Strong IBM PA (TM1) development background with experience in solution and designing.
Experienced in PAW, PAX, TM1 Rest API, IBM PA Performance Modeler and other areas of PA suite of applications.
Expert in developing successful technical solutions that involve TM1 cubes, dimensions, TI processes, rules, chores, MDX queries and executing the completion of the TM1 architecture per project.
Expertise in coding complex Rules, Feeder statements, multi-threading & building complex calculations.
Working experience on Python.
IBM PA (TM1) cloud experience
Nice-to-have:
Working experience on Cognos CA(BI) tool sets as a developer creating and scheduling of reports.
Building Automated QA test scripts for TM1
Working knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud suite of products. (Planning, PCMCS, HFM)
IBM Certifications pertaining to Cognos TM1 10.2+ preferred
