Your role:

Concretely, you will work with the team to ensure the sound management, support and evolution of the platforms and their processes. You will help to develop and implement the application modernization strategy and secure our automation approach for one of the most critical teams in the Bank, and act as a catalyst for transformation using the DevOps practices of the following categories:

• Source Code Management;
• Continuous integration;
• Continuous deployment;
• Automated testing;
• Applications monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in the support and stability of the ecosystem, in operational excellence and in the efficiency of automation in technological and application environments
• Make changes, adjustments and facilitate discussions as needed by our business partners on the applications.
• Carry out development and deployments, meeting the main delivery objectives in the incremental modernization plan, migrating applications to new technologies
• Improve methods, support environments and automate legacy processes by recommending changes that improve reliability and efficiency in both operations and delivery processes.

• Participate actively in ecosystem stability, operational excellence and efficiency in automation in the technological and application environments
• Play a key role in developing the skills of your peers through knowledge sharing and training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years' relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field and three years' relevant experience OR University certificate/undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and eight years' relevant experience
• You have a minimum of four years’ prior experience in developing and implementing solutions that require extensive data transformation and manipulation from multiple sources.
• You have an above average understanding of Financial Markets (KYC, Operations, Trade Lifecycle, etc)
• You have demonstrated experience in multiple programming languages (C++, C#, VBA, .Net, HTML, Java,  Python, Ruby) and frameworks (Angular/React)
• Bilingualism both spoken and written - English and French
