We are seeking a Dental Therapy Assistant to work in our Newtown Bee Healthy Dental Hub Clinic.
This is a permanent, full time position. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm.
Dental therapy assistants work with a dental therapist providing chairside and administration support and liaising with patients, caregivers and school staff.
To be successful in this role you must have good communication skills, be able to demonstrate flexibility, be able to multitask and be a team player.
This is a fast-paced, high-demand area and you must have the ability to work as part of a team.

The Bee Healthy Regional Dental Service provides dental services for children of the greater Wellington Region from Hub clinics and mobile examination vans.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Good communication skills
Kind and empathic
Demonstrate knowledge of infection prevention control
Positive and proactive approach to workload
Able to record and understand written information clearly and accurately
Customer Service experience
Must be physically fit
Adaptable to change
Full drivers licence essential as required to drive mobile dental vans to and from schools
Knowledge and experience with children and working in a dental environment would be desirable but not essential as on the job training will be provided.
