We work to shape an education system that delivers equitable and excellent outcomes
At Te TÄhuhu o te MÄtauranga | Ministry of Education, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to Äkonga and whÄnau.
Planning for and managing the state school property portfolio involves the single largest departmental output expense the Ministry is responsible for in dollar terms. Delivering the land and infrastructure for the future property portfolio requires a focus on purchasing and designating new property to expand the portfolio's capacity to meet the demands of schooling or demographic changes. Our team provides this service to the Ministry and is uniquely placed to build relationships with Council's, Iwi, developers, suppliers and other parts of the business to help deliver land property solutions that will help deliver education for many generations.
It is an exciting time to join the Te TÄhuhu o te MÄtauranga | Ministry of Education
