To help us continue our strong momentum and expand our retail branded dealer network, we have an opportunity to join our Commercial Team and Branded Retail Team as a Dealer Operations Manager. This is a new and permanent position and is based in Melbourne.

In this position you will hold responsibility for the development and execution of the Branded Retail Growth Strategy. The role puts you at the heart of United Petroleum’s strategy in building scale and capability with our Branded Dealer Retail Network. As a member of the Commercial and Branded Retail Team you will drive an organic acquisition program that will fundamentally change the way we champion our participation in this retail channel.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the retail branded dealer strategy in conjunction with United’s sales managers nationally
• Lead the roll-out of key project initiatives
• Deliver effective communications that inform, influence and drive adoption
• Leverage change management best practices to ensure adoption of strategic network growth initiatives
• Draw insights from industry best practice and branded retail channel measurement to drive continuous improvement, inform our strategy and attract and retain high quality Dealer talent
• Work collaboratively with Retail and Property Management to ensure the delivery of consistent and cohesive acquisition strategy

Experience Required:

• Experience as a Retail/Wholesale Fuels generalist, in a fast-paced, customer-centric industry, strong capability to problem solve and apply critical thinking
• A collaborative, agile attitude and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Accomplished and persuasive communicator with excellent written and verbal communication, good attention to detail, experience with relationship management, digital channel management and project management
• Knowledge of change management approaches and methodologies to navigate business change
• Ability to develop, implement and assess implementation plans
• Tertiary qualification preferred or equivalent work experience
