Assignment Type: This position is currently listed as "Hybrid" due to COVID-19 related work from home direction. Once HSC staff are required to return to the office, the resource under this request may be required to work onsite as well.

This position is for an intermediate database administrator

Shared Utility Service / Middleware team is looking for a database administrator to:

Create physical database designs, operate and administer the database management system  (DBMS) including database optimization, performance tuning, backup and recovery Manage database requirements for new client application onboarding the Shared Utility Service  hosting. The consultant will be responsible for creating physical database designs, and operating and  administering the database management system (DBMS) including database optimization,  performance tuning, backup and recovery.

• Experience designing, installing, configuring and maintaining an Oracle Dataguardsenvironment Oracle Database Configuration - 10%
