Description

The ideal candidate is a flexible, highly technical problem solver, with interdisciplinary knowledge of software, statistics, and test & measurement. You feel at home in a dynamic, multi-team engineering environment, acting as an interface between product design, test engineering teams, volume production line, operations, and finance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Mine data to help find and automate anomaly finding.

Develop data models and algorithms to apply to data sets

Adapt new technologies to improve or replace test processes.

Build and help maintain our cloud data ecosystem.

Optimization of test methods to increase throughput and robustness.

Create new tools to scale test capabilities to higher volumes.

Provide interfaces for other groups to use the new tools with different technologies.

Develop software automation with different cloud tools.

Required Skills

Must have

Enrolled in a PhD or masters program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related fields with focus on data science techniques

Experience in a variety of advanced statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g. regression, distributions, clustering, ANNs, etc.)

Familiarity with Machine Learning frameworks (such as or TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (e.g. scikit-learn)

Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and/or Signal Processing and Signal classification algorithms and techniques

Experience in Python programming

Commitment to work full-time (40 hrs/week)

Preferred Technical Skills

Hands on experience in software development (Python, Scala. C# or Java is a plus);

Knowledge of Apache Spark, and Databricks.

Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS).
