We are seeking a Data Engineer to help provide insight, versatility and experience in data and data security. In this role you will be exposed to a wide variety of technologies and solutions (Linux, Windows, Java, COTS, SaaS, PaaS, IaC, Web/App servers, RDBMS etc). The team is fully Agile and interfaces with upstream and downstream teams throughout the organisation. You will be part of a squad which handles workloads in multiple cloud environments, you will be expected to contribute in the AWS and/or Azure space.

 What you’ll need to succeed:

• Proven experience in database design, development of data schemas, data curation
• Data wrangling / manipulation from a variety of structured/unstructured/API sources
• Proven experience working in big data environments
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in Scala, Python, Spark. Informatica, Unix, and Enterprise Kafka would be beneficial
