Summary

XpertHR is looking for an experienced data analyst who is able to summarise complex information into customer-friendly reports. Using your data analysis and reporting skills you will turn real world problems into data solutions.

You will work within our data and analysis team to help internal and external stakeholders understand, interpret and use data. This is a varied role that involves the marshalling the information that employers need to reward their employees in a fair, efficient and business-conscious manner. You will work with colleagues to design and implement reports, explore new data uses and to ensure that our data continues to be high quality, well organised and secure.

Key responsibilities

Regularly create reports for our customers based on a variety of employment issues.

Become the teams data analysis resource and work with team members to develop, test and field new data-driven reports and products to meet customer needs.

Work with the team to extract, prepare and validate data as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job

Proven ability to summarise complex information into customer-friendly reports.

Can absorb and apply technical information quickly.

Able to apply data analysis

and reporting methods to real-world problems.

Intermediate or advanced Excel skills - you will be comfortable with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and basic charting

Knowledge of SQL or Python groupby, join and aggregation operations wont be a mystery to you in either an SQL or a Python context.

Desirable:

Knowledge of employment and reward issues.

Experience of working with databricks or jupyter notebooks.

General

Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.

Able to embrace agile working combining home and office working

Well organised and target focused.

Able to plan and monitor own work and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
